A discussion and writing session, regarding what we are looking to gain from this experience, and what we are dealing with/going through during the process.
A series of cardio, strengthening, and stretching exercises.
Exercises, tasks, etc. designed to assist in producing quick-thinking during improvisational movement.
Exercises (including partner/group work) to aid in producing innovative movement, while honing the ability to confidently make on-the-spot decisions.
A choreography/combo class combining jazz and hip-hop
elements. Sneakers are optional.
Exercises that will help reduce insecurities and elevate our confidence while performing.
A technique/combo class with contemporary-based movement. Pants as well as socks or bare-feet are recommended.
Different techniques used to share movement that require the dancers to find new ways to learn and adapt to picking-up choreography. New ways to express choreography through individualization will also be explored.
A giant group improv with no rules! Just dance and enjoy!
